I have been freelance writing for 16 years and have written for The Guardian, The Big Issue, The Shot, New Matilda and many others. I am a regular contributor to the Westender.com, my local online newspaper.
Every business needs clear, concise, engaging content to attract new clients. I can help with that.
In my previous life I was a registered nurse. In 2006 I decided to change course and follow my passion for writing. In 2016 I graduated with a Masters in Creative Industries from Queensland University of Technology. In 2020 I completed a certificate of copywriting with the Australian Writer's Centre.
My writing has covered politics, the arts, health, and family, but my particular interest is in travel. I have lived and worked in Nepal, and travelled to Iceland, UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, China, Tibet, and India.
"While figuring out what copy will work for your business, there are many roads that can be taken, many avenues to explore... but there is only one Rose Lane. Rose was very easy to communicate with and seamlessly got on board with my business and what we wanted to create. Bringing engaging content and writing copy that captured what we were about, I would recommend Rose for anyone who wants great, clever copy... your business will thank you."
